The Wakeham Trust provides funding for small-scale projects that are struggling to get funding from elsewhere, but are making a real contribution to the local community. The Trust likes to support projects that encourage the empowerment of ordinary, non-professional people.

They are keen to support pilot projects, and those that are run by groups who are usually considered recipients of voluntary action (such as older people or young people involved in the criminal justice system).

Grants of between £125 and £2,500 are available.
