West of England Strategy discussion paper was launched on Wednesday 26 July at the new Bristol Business School at UWE.

The aim is to develop a strategy that will be owned by everyone, allowing us to present a joined-up voice to government and promote the region nationally and internationally. So businesses, organisations and others asked to engage with this strategy and give their views on how it can improved to ensure we can drive economic growth and improve the quality of life for all.

A PDF version of the document and further information can be found on www.westofengland-ca.org.uk, under ‘Our Strategy’.

The strategy discussion paper sets out high-level plans for delivering economic growth for all, under three pillars:

  • Businesses that succeed
  • World class skills for employment
  • Infrastructure fit for the future

Complete the online survey. This survey will be open for nine weeks, and ends on 27 September 2017.

Your feedback, along with the views of other local groups and partners, will be taken into consideration in developing a final strategy to be published in the autumn.
