Supporting Young Carers

Volunteer Title: Supporting Young Carers

Description of the Volunteer Role: Our volunteers get involved in one-to-one support, workshops, events and activities. Volunteers are expected to work directly with children and young people who have caring responsibilities for one or more family members.

•To help the young carer develop social skills and self-confidence, encouraging them pursue an active interest outside of the home
