Whitfield Tabernacle is a famous historical building built in 1741 which until 1989 was used by Kingswood residents for a range of community activity.

A local group of partners have a vision to bring the Tabernacle back into community use and we would like to understand what you would like to use it for.

A Public meeting is being held about this. Tuesday 18th  July – 7:30pm @ The Queens Head, 29 Lower Hanham Road, Bristol BS15 8QP.

Please join us at a workshop on 24th July, 11am-1pm at the Park Centre. The aim of the workshop is to develop several options for community use for the Tabernacle. Some of the ideas we have had so far are great, for example - creative space/hub, sports, soft-play family focus, wellbeing, green spaces activities. We would really welcome contributions from residents and local community groups. Please reserve your place by emailing julesstraw@southernbrooks.org.uk or call 01454 864164
