The new Charity Governance Code has been collectively revised by the VCSE sector to provide a clear set of governance standards which charities and their trustees can aspire to and work toward. It is a highly practical tool offering all charity boards an exciting opportunity to reflect on and improve their governance.

It covers seven key principles and lists recommended practices for each, tailored both to larger and smaller organisations. For what the code says, how its changed and how to use it please review this blog by Dan Francis,  NCVO’s governance consultant.
