Southern Brooks have launched programme of activity sessions aimed at improving mental health and emotional wellbeing, and reducing social isolation.

The co-ordinator of the programme, Clare Allen, will meet with individuals on a one to one basis.  She will be able to signpost people to relevant support and organisations and ensure that the activity sessions we offer are meeting peoples’ needs.

Weekly daytime drop in sessions

Time: Thursdays, 11:30am to 1:30pm

Location: Coniston Community Centre
Over time, we will expand this drop in session and offer activities in different locations, on different days and times.

These sessions will be part of the upcoming South Gloucestershire Wellbeing College, which launched in September 2016.  The Wellbeing College will offer courses, activities and sessions across the county, all aimed at improved mental health and wellbeing.
