Two landfill funds

1. Primary Fund Grants are available to non-profit making organisations in qualifying areas of England for improvements to local community facilities, historic buildings and structures, sport and recreation facilities.

Grants of between £1 and £50,000 are available. If a Primary Fund application is for part-funding of a bigger project, the Trust will only accept an application if the bigger project has a gross value of £250,000 or less.

2. Smaller Project. Grants are available for not-for-profit organisations in qualifying areas of England for physical improvement to community facilities, such as village halls, public parks, sports facilities, historic buildings and structures. Grants up to a maximum of £20,000 are available. Applications are only accepted towards projects with a total cost of £40,000 or less.

Grants are available to those organisations that lie within 3 miles from a qualifying Landfill site owned by SUEZ UK. The Trust provides a post code checker so that potential applicants can check the eligibility of the project's location.

NB. Using the CVS postcode there is one such site in South Gloucestershire: Durston Shireway Yate Landfill. Organisations would need to check using there own postcode.

Deadline 5pm, 2 October.
