How you’ll make a difference
Our StreetCare Design and Operations Team play a key role in the delivery of Grounds Maintenance services across South Gloucestershire.
The team undertakes landscape projects in parks, highways, developments and cooperate areas that include hard surfaces, soil cultivation, tool and equipment selection, plant selection, planting and plant development.
As our apprentice you’ll support and contribute by maintaining existing green spaces and other landscapes whilst assisting with routine operations to ensure the effective delivery of services to both the public and partner organisations.
We will allocate you a workplace mentor to give you guidance and support throughout your 19 month apprenticeship and completion of a Level 2 in Horticulture and Landscape Operative.
What we need from you:
- Ideally hold a minimum qualification in GCSE English and Maths at grade D or 3 and above, or Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Math’s. If you do not have these you must be willing to undertake and gain Functional Skills in English and Maths as part of the apprenticeship.
