Volunteer Role: Collection Tin Organiser

Summary of role: Are you interested in a flexible volunteer role which enables you to make important links with your local community? Brain Tumour Support is a charity dedicated to giving specialist help and support to families facing the often life changing impact of a brain tumour diagnosis.

They need people to distribute and monitor their collection tins in the local community. This may be in local shops, pubs, restaurants etc. This process will involve contacting local businesses, either face-to-face or over the phone to find suitable locations for the collection tins. You will also need to keep a record of where all collection tins are based and follow them up 2-3 times a year to assess if they need emptying. Full training and support will be given as part of the role.
