South Gloucestershire Citizens Advice is a local charity providing advice and help to people for the problems they face. We have the benefit of being part of a large and influential national organisation. Our Trustees decide how and where we provide our services. In the last twelve months our volunteers advisors and staff members have helped over 4,500 people.

We have vacancies for Trustees. We are currently seeking motivated people to help us shape the future of the Charity. In order to have a balanced and diverse board, we are considering, but not exclusively, people with the following backgrounds: Business or Commercial, Health or Social Care, Marketing or Communications.

We are also looking to appoint a new Treasurer - it would be expected that the Treasurer, who is also a Trustee, will have a qualification in financial discipline, ideally some knowledge of legislation concerning financial issues surrounding the work of a charity and the skills to analyse proposals and examine their financial consequences.
