Description of the Volunteer Role: We have various activity clubs and carers groups with volunteering opportunities:

Carers Group Support – Bedminster/Southville

Once a month

Third Tuesday – Monthly 10:15am – 12:15pm

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys socialising and supporting carers. Our Bedminster/Southville carers group gives carers the opportunity for much needed break and to socialise with other carers.

The group meets once a month. Our Carers Support Officer would welcome a supportive volunteer who is able to: make teas and coffees; is a good listener; is able to make people feel welcome and relaxed; can show empathy to others.

Craft Volunteer

Are you creative are or able to share a craft activity with a small group of carers? Our carers group enjoy learning a range of simple crafts that are, ideally, achievable in less than two hours. Time commitment required is a two hour session in Downend on the second Monday of each month (not August or December). Cost of materials and travel expenses paid.
