Apply for an Area Wide Grant to help your community
Is your community, voluntary or social enterprise group in need of financial support for a project, service, event or activity that benefits residents across South Gloucestershire?
South Gloucestershire Council is inviting applications for Area Wide Grants (AWG) from voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and town and parish councils. The deadline for applications in Round 2 is 23 October 2020.
Area Wide Grants can be applied for to support community projects, events or services designed to meet the needs of residents in at least six of the 14 Community Engagement Forum (CEF) areas in South Gloucestershire.
The maximum level of award is £3,000 with flexibility for both exceptional circumstances and budget availability. For further information on the scheme please go to South Gloucestershire Council’s webpage southglos.gov.uk/AWG.
All organisations must be registered to the Grants Online System and must be approved before making an application. For more information please see our Registration Guidance.
Applications received before 23 October 2020 will be presented to a sub-group meeting and recommendations from this meeting will be presented to the Executive Member for Communities for a decision to be published later in in the year. Applications should therefore be for projects and services being delivered from March 2021.
