February 2010.
The Debate on the Big Society and Showcase of South Gloucestershire’s Voluntary and Community Sector in Kingswood. More details to be confirmed in due course, as we are in the planning stage.
This is a Voluntary Voices forum event (run by CVS) in collaboration with the Members Lunch (run by our NI7 partner, Chase and Kings Forest Community Project).
The event will be attended by local MPs, who will address the delegation and answer questions comeing from the floor.
“The UK political and societal landscape is in a state of major flux. We hope this event will bring some clarity to the Big Society vision for transforming the landscape of our communities, to how the local voluntary and community sector can support this transformation, and examine just how it might be achieved under the current climate of spending cuts.” Clare Adamson, Voluntary Voices Coordinator, CVS South Gloucestershire.
