CVS South Gloucestershire, in partnership with other voluntary sector organisations, has developed a number of mechanisms to gather, strengthen and represent the voices of the voluntary sector, to advocate the work, value, concerns and opinions of the voluntary sector and to build its ability to influence strategy and policy at decision making in South Gloucestershire.
This work is managed by the Development Officer for Voice and Influence (previously the Voluntary Sector Forum Coordinator).
The mechanisms in place used to are the Leaders Board and the Infrastructure Partnership, which replace the Voluntary Sector Forum and the Voluntary Sector Steering Group (VSSG).
