Sustainable Funding Training

Over the last few months we have run a number of training courses as an introduction to Sustainable Funding - part of our work in collaboration with NCVO as one of 6 national Sustainable Funding Beacons, funded by Big Lottery.  Feedback from trainees has been extremely positive:

  • One of the most specifically targeted and useful training days that I’ve been on.
  • A very encouraging and informative day. I came away with ideas to put into practice and a feeling of optimism that sustainable funding is possible.

We are now planning training courses to focus on the separate income streams within the income spectrum. These include:

Trading - Grow Your Own Income - earning income by the sale of goods and services. For details of this  day visit www.ncvo-vol.org.uk/node/45658

Generating Income through Gifts -
unrestricted income raised from donors. Details at www.ncvo-vol.org.uk/training-events/funding-finance/generating-income-through-gifts-donations

Watch this space for further courses on contracts for public services, income from grants, planning for sustainable funding and additional introduction to sustainable funding courses.
