Just before the general election was called, parliament approved the Equalities Act 2010 in the ‘wash up’ process that cleared outstanding legislation. The Act has significance for all voluntary organisations and community groups working with equalities groups and voluntary organisations that are employers.

How can Mental Health Services in Bristol and South Gloucestershire be improved?
There will be no pre-set agenda for this event; you and the things you feel are important will create the plan for what is discussed on the day.
No mental health professionals or managers will be at this event, but everything that comes out of the day will be fed back to the local NHS, Mental Health Trust and Council.
